Must be available to be on-call for rotating weekends and holidays.
Position Summary: Responsible for the overall census, coordinating admissions office operations and working with discharge planners at hospitals and with other referral sources to provide leads for the Center for Health and Rehabilitation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Occupancy Develop leads and ensure waiting lists are developed.
Work with Hospital Liaison in Developing Monthly Occupancy Development Plan Conduct tours and work closely with family members and residents to develop relationships and ease the transition.
Accommodate prospect scheduling, as needed.
Carry out prospecting activities: telephone, hospital visits, doctor office visits, events, and other activities.
Qualify prospects within established guidelines and work with Business Office and others, as necessary.
Facilitate sales.
Coordinating Admissions Office Operations Reporting at the Admissions Strategy meetings Coordinating and assigning of work within the Admissions Office Communicate with other departments to maintain efficient operations within the community Develop, manage and improve admissions workflow process to achieve the highest levels of guest satisfaction Community / Public Relations Develop relationships with external community members to promote goodwill for Burcham Hills.
Work with Burcham Hills Community Marketing team to increase Burcham Branding.
Work with Hospital Liaison to develop a strategic monthly Marketing Plan.
Manage advertising, google reviews, testimonials Make presentations to small or large groups, as identified.
Keep up-to-date of competitors’ offerings/happenings.
Visit referral sources and develop personal connections.
Administration and trending/reporting Prepare and review reports and suggest improvements.
Keep records up-to-date including utilizing appropriate software.
Maintain high personal standards to assure residents’ rights to fair and equitable treatment.
Deal diplomatically and caringly with residents, family members, responsible parties and staff to develop a kind, trusting and caring environment.
Position Specifications: Education and Experience: Proven track record in achieving sales goals.
One-year experience in admissions/marketing.
Bachelor’s Degree Required.

Prefer experience working with elders.
Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals, discharge planners and the general public.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through to completion with little or no supervision.
Ability to work with employees, residents, visitors of various demographic and economic backgrounds.
Ability to exercise independent judgment in managing projects through to completion.
Valid driver’s license.
Proficient in Windows environment, MS Office and other data base programs.
Ability to use general office equipment and maintain organization within office environment.
Must present an appropriate professional image at all times.
