Day-to-Day Role: Support the development of national pricing and promotional strategies through the translation of the objectives of brands, channels, and regions to pricing strategies aligned to these objectives, to drive the maximum capture of economic and market benefits for the company Lead development and deployment of the trade management policies, systems, governance, and design Lead the annual strategic trade planning process lifecycle including guardrails, budget allocation, planning meetings, and trade rate setting Work with cross functional teams in building out customer level strategic plans that deliver on business unit objectives Construct category, competitor, consumer, channel, shopper insights, and best practices that are shared widely with the CP business unit Establish KPIs and ensure tracking of customer-level promotional behavior and execution Measure and communicate the economic and financial impact of pricing and promotion decisions at the brand, channel, or customer level Manage the total U.

trade spend budget allocation through continuous monitoring of shipment, consumption, and financial outcomes to ensure optimal use of resources Own the pre and post evaluation of trade promotion events for key account customers and coordinate with sales and broker management to ensure the effective and efficient use of funds (e.

, ROI, cost per incremental case) Lead the process, review, and evaluation of incremental requests for funding outside of annual planning process Partner with cross functional teams (Category Management, Marketing, Product Line Management, Pricing) to assess opportunities to improve business performance through combined efforts (product assortment, pricing, trade and/or marketing) Manage end-to-end trade promotion management systems, initiatives, and tool/vendor selection required to transform the trade management practice.
Core Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate must possess all of the following: Bachelor’s degree and eight (8) years of experience in the Consumer Goods Industry Comprehensive knowledge of and experience in Marketing and Commercial sales, revenue growth management, pricing, trade, etc.
Experience in Trade Spend Management with focus on grocery, mass and/or club retail channels, e-commerce, preferred Supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership skills Familiarity with decision making tools (i.
e.
simulation analysis, PVP’s, Pareto, cost benefit, etc.
) Understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics General understanding of micro and macroeconomics analysis Experience working with Nielsen and IRI/Circana data Ability to handle complex issues under tight timelines Experience managing and executing multiple tasks, projects and priorities Excellent leadership and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate findings and persuade the organization Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary in order to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups, or work teams, and to explain technical and financial issues Demonstrated experience effectively presenting to an audience Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Master’s degree SAP experience Overview: Dart makes everyday products that give people the freedom to enjoy the food & drinks they love, wherever they are.
