Communications and Content Specialist - Hybrid (Must reside within the state of Michigan)

Responsibilities:
Write and edit content for our publications, website, and external communications.
Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure our messages resonate with our audience.
Manage the production of publications and web content, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Maintain our style guide and ensure adherence across all materials.
Manage, update, and maintain a library of presentations, statements, and talking points.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of style and brand voice across all communications.
Develop and manage our volunteer recognition program, including coordinating gifts and awards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
Five to seven years of experience in copywriting, editing, and content development.
Proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading.
Experience with content management systems and web platforms.
Knowledge of social media marketing and other digital communication channels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and Adobe Acrobat.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret information effectively.
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 5% of the time).
