I've been growing "voodoo lily" plants for many years and have some to give away.
Stores don't stock these bulbs as they take 4 or more years before they flower.
Please research the bulbs before contacting me.
In the phase shown as a stalk in the photo, they'll open into a giant lily that smells like rotten meat (hence their also being called "corpse flower.
") and you literally have to get them out into the garage or elsewhere for about 10 days.
Then when planted in a pot or in the garden in the summer, a quite lovely fern-shaped plant emerges from the same bulb (hence the "amorpho" in the name.
).
Each bulb sends off 4-6 shoots each season, so they replicate easily.
The sprouting bulbs in the photo are all at least 5 years old.
Given their rare nature, I'd like to limit free bulbs to two per household.
