*Job Summary – Delivery Driver*
The Delivery Driver’s main function is to establish and maintain good relations with NAPA customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional delivery service in a safe and timely manner.
This person must also check invoices to ensure that the parts ordered were correctly pulled for delivery to the customer.
Additionally, the Driver will assist with checking in stock orders and stocking products on the shelves; cleaning and routine maintenance functions for the delivery vehicle and the store; adhering to all safety rules, including the handling of hazardous materials; answering the telephone on occasion; participating in training; and performing all other associated duties assigned by management.
_*Duties/Responsibilities:*_
· Deliver a wide variety of items to different businesses
· Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
· Utilize the delivery tracking system to track deliveries in real time, routes, parts by invoice for each customer and receipt of delivery
· Ensure the security of company assets, vehicles, merchandise, building/property and personnel
· Follow Company regulations, safety standards and rules of the road
· Ensure all items being delivered remain intact during transport and delivery
· Able to establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service.
· Maintain professional attitude, conduct, and appearance.
· Assist in the flow of merchandise from stock areas to the sales floor in a timely and organized manner
· Be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers and product line codes to ensure proper selection and delivery of parts, including identifying sequences of numbers and letters accurately and rapidly.
· Pick up returns and cores from customer accounts
· Responsible for keeping vehicles clean, maintained, and performing daily vehicle inspections prior to operating.
· Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or any damage to store manager immediately.
· Complete required training
· Perform additional duties as assigned

· Possess a valid driver's license with no DWl convictions within the past five years and not more than three moving violations or two at-fault accidents in the last three years.
_*Education and Experience:*_
* High school diploma, GED or Associate’s degree
_*Physical Requirements:*_
· Must be able to lift and move merchandise of up to 40 poundsand occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
· Move engine blocks, core barrels, and other heavy equipment using moving aids designed to move such items, including hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts
· Bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and reach upper shelves with use of stool or ladder when necessary
· Stand and walk for entire work shift
· Enter, exit, and remain mobile behind the steering wheel of a delivery vehicle
· Recognize and distinguish letters and numbers (both visually and aurally) and remember their sequence
· Possess visual acuity and reflexes sufficient to safely perform driving duties
