GSRP Associate Teacher

03/hour *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* * A Child Development Associate Credential (CDA); or * An Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education *Staff Receive:* * Paid Holidays * Planning Time * Paid Sick Time & Snow Day *DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* * Experience working with preschool-age children.
*STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Provide a safe environment for children.
* Provide/direct activities designed to enhance the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and developmental needs of children.
* Provide/direct activities that enhance and encourage development of the children’s individual interests and talents.
* Provide a comfortable and relaxed environment where children feel welcome and secure.
* Assist in preparation of snack.
* Supervise assigned children.
* Follow discipline policy.
* Attend all required staff meetings and professional development.
* Follow all school district, state child care licensing and Great Start Readiness Program requirements.
* Participate fully in curriculum planning and implementation, child assessment and parent engagement through home visits, conferences and parent meetings.
* Take anecdotal records, input data into computer assessment system and use them to develop instructional strategies for children.
* Staff may be required to lift young children on occasion, weighing up to 80 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.
