*POSITION: Preschool Associate Teacher - Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)* \*Positions Available Beginning Immediately \*Paid holidays, planning time, snow day and sick time Midway Early Learning Center 2023-2024 School Year Full-Time: 8 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday *ABOUT OUR DISTRICT:* Holt Public Schools is located in the Lansing metropolitan region.
It is primarily located in Ingham County with portions in Eaton County.
We provide educational programs from Early Childhood through and beyond 12th grade including access to Early College programming and Career and Technical Education.
Our current enrollment totals approximately 5,000 students.

*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* A Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.
*DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Experience working with preschool-age children.
*JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Provide a safe environment for children.
* Provide/direct activities designed to enhance the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and developmental needs of children.
* Provide/direct activities that enhance and encourage development of the children’s individual interests and talents.
* Provide a comfortable and relaxed environment where children feel welcome and secure.
* Assist in preparation of snacks.
* Supervise assigned children.
* Follow discipline policy.
* Attend all required staff meetings and professional development.
* Follow all school district, state child care licensing and Great Start Readiness Program requirements.
* Participate fully in curriculum planning and implementation, child assessment and parent engagement through home visits, conferences, parent meetings and family night events.
* Take anecdotal records, input data into computer assessment system and use them to develop instructional strategies for children.
* Staff may be required to lift young children on occasion, weighing up to 80 pounds.
* Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is required.
