Recruiting for this position will end on April 19th Work you'll do: Assist clients with optimizing their accounting and financial reporting operations Performing analyses to validate GTAS reported budgetary and proprietary balances Performing edit checks and tie point analysis Lead financial statement compilation and reporting efforts Perform fluctuation analysis to identify significant changes in account balance Develop and implement a quality assurance checklist to support preparation of Financial Statements Support training and knowledge transfer for newly developed reports and processes Support compilation of federal financial statements and disclosures Design quality assurance review process for GTAS reported balances and Financial Statements The Team: Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact.

Qualifications Required: Consulting experience in any of the following areas: Federal Financial Reporting Process Improvements Financial Transactions Financial Variance Analysis Quality Assurance Review Experience performing analyses to validate GTAS reported budgetary and proprietary balances 2+ years of experience Knowledge of GTAS Research and remediation of differences related to USSGL account balances Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology/Systems, Business, Finance or another Business-related field Travel up to 20% on average, based on work you do and the clients and the industries/sectors you serve Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Preferred: Possess Interim Secret or Secret Level clearance, highly preferred Certifications including: CPA, CDFM, CGFM, CFA, CIA The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $63,000 to $105,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
