Staff Accountant

Our work environment includes: * Modern office setting * Food provided Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments - Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial data - Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate records of financial transactions - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure proper recording of transactions - Provide support for tax compliance and assist with tax filings - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting - Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA certification preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles - Strong knowledge of governmental accounting principles and practices - Experience working with private equity or investment firms is a plus - Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Sage Intacct or similar systems - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
