State Budget Office is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the state budget, including development of the Governor’s Executive Budget recommendation, monitoring of the budget to ensure continued fiscal balance, and other budgetary analysis functions.
Budget development and implementation activities are conducted through five individual offices: Office of Economic Development (OED), Office of Education (OE), Office of Health and Human Services (OHHS), Office of Public Protection and Resources (OPPR), and Office of Budget Coordination and Development (OBCD).
**We are looking to fill two budget analyst positions to support OED and OHHS.
** As a budget analyst, you will: Play a crucial role helping to direct public funds.
Help provide services to people and communities.

State Budget Office currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official workstation with the potential of up to three days remote work per week.

Work must be performed in the state of Michigan.
If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position.
Relocation expenses are not reimbursed.

For this position, the Limited Term assignment will begin on the date of hire and expire one year from the date of hire.
