Discovery auditors work in an office or telework environment or a combination of both and will communicate with taxpayers through letters, phone, and email.
Auditors will also contact companies or tax professionals who have requested Voluntary Disclosure.
This work is done in an independent and team environment.
Training is provided for all projects and auditors will progress to more complex projects and duties as they advance and learn.
