*Key Responsibilities:*
* Achieve target objectives by reviewing expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
* Entering invoices and customer receipts into the ERP system
* Resolve invoicing issues and answering payment inquiries
* Assist in inventory reconciliation including financial close and tonnage
* Manage corporate Credit Card needs and prepare corresponding journal entries
* Manage portions of the daily banking activities on banking website including the coordination of incoming and outgoing payments
* Assist in monitoring and enforcing internal controls
*What We're looking for:*
* A competitive candidate for this position will possess the following skills and experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant professional experience
* Minimum 2 years of experience with accounts receivable, month-end closes, supporting documentation for journal entries and inventory counts & valuation
* Strong math and communication skills
* Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel and an ERP system (ex: Sage, SAP, etc.
)
* Formal accounting experience with regular adherence to standardized work procedures and processes
