Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team.
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks, including account reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and payroll preparation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quickbooks, payroll, and bookkeeping.
Duties:
- Perform general accounting duties, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation
- Assist with payroll preparation and completion of payroll tax forms.
- Collaborate with cross other team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software Quickbooks and Excel
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
