REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A Child Development Associate Credential (CDA); OR
An Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with preschool-age children.
Knowledge of Creative Curriculum or Teaching Strategies Gold
General Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain a safe environment for all children and staff onsite and offsite for occasional field trips.
Provide/direct activities designed to enhance the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and developmental needs of children.
Provide/direct activities that enhance and encourage the development of the children’s individual interests and talents.
Provide a comfortable and relaxed environment where children feel welcome and secure.
Assist in the preparation of snacks and lunch.
Supervise assigned children.
Use positive discipline techniques when supervising children in the program and follow discipline policy.
Attend all required staff meetings and professional development.
Follow all school district, state child care licensing, and Great Start Readiness Program requirements.
Participate fully in curriculum planning and implementation, child assessment, and parent engagement through home visits, conferences, and parent meetings.
Take anecdotal records, input data into TSG, and use data to develop instructional strategies for children.
Staff may be required to lift young children on occasion, weighing up to 80 pounds.
Maintain a level of professionalism and confidentiality when discussing individual children with parents and staff
Pay: $15.
21 per hour
Hours: 8:00-4:00 pm Monday-Friday
