Knowledge of Creative Curriculum or Teaching Strategies Gold Job description General Duties and Responsibilities * Maintain a safe environment for all children and staff onsite and offsite for occasional field trips.
* Provide/direct activities designed to enhance the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and developmental needs of children.
* Provide/direct activities that enhance and encourage the development of the children’s individual interests and talents.
* Provide a comfortable and relaxed environment where children feel welcome and secure.
* Assist in preparation of snack.
* Supervise assigned children.
* Use positive discipline techniques when supervising children in the program and follow discipline policy.
* Attend all required staff meetings and professional development.
* Follow all school district, state child care licensing and Great Start Readiness Program requirements.
* Participate fully in curriculum planning and implementation, child assessment and parent engagement through home visits, conferences and parent meetings.
* Take anecdotal records, input data into computer assessment system and use them to develop instructional strategies for children.
* Staff may be required to lift young children on occasion, weighing up to 80 pounds.
* Maintain a level of professionalism and confidentiality when discussing individual children with parents and staff Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
