This position determines audit strategies, programs, and procedures for specific audit assignments.
Furthermore, this position may assist in complex internal audits/assessments/risk assessments of MDOT’s organizational entities and processes.
Other internal audit/assessment activities could include research, data analytics, review of complex MDOT processes and/or procedures, and development of recommendations and related communications relative to potential process improvements.
The individual in this position is also responsible for performing other duties as assigned.
The work requires considerable independent judgment to determine the proper course of action, and requires the use of complex data analytical tools.
