What you’ll do As the Senior Financial Analyst based at our recently overhauled manufacturing campus in Charlotte, MI, your role involves providing comprehensive support to the finance department.
This includes monthly book closings, analyzing financial data, and reporting results for the business unit in comparison to plan, forecast, budgets, and trends.
Charlotte, MI – Cost of Living Data via ERi You will also: Collaborate with budget center managers to develop and support cost center expenses Fixed asset management Review financial data to ensure business efficiency and accuracy Assist in developing statistical and written reports for management Develop financial statements and associated reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow statements, budgets, and variance analyses Support monthly, quarterly, and annual balancing of books and monthly account reviews Assist in the development of a financial plan and forecast Review budget proposals and prepare necessary supporting documentation and justification of proposed budgets Support cost estimating for new and existing products and product options Aid in the development of overhead and labor standards Review, evaluate, and suggest accounting systems, policies, and procedures Relocation assistance to the Charlotte, MI area is available for non-local candidates.

What you need to be successful Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Five or more years of accounting expertise, primarily within a manufacturing environment A thorough understanding of how government procurement regulations affect accounting systems Working knowledge of forecasting, financial reports, data collection, data analysis, and evaluation Ability to interpret economic conditions and anticipate the impact on the organization Strong and consistent attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office A reputation for handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines Sound judgment with the ability to make timely decisions A history of effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment Versatility, flexibility, and the willingness to work within constantly changing priorities Knowledge of ERP systems, Plex ERP and OneStream (preferred) Learn More The content below is exclusively available on our careers site job description: https://theshyftgroup.
